You are more than welcome to bring any friends with you for moral support and to enjoy the process with you. If you bring a child they are not allowed past the waiting area as we have sharp objects and chemicals that are very dangerous for children. You must also bring someone to keep an eye on your child and take charge of them for the duration of the time you are in the shop. This is for your child’s safety.
You need to go to our full aftercare instructions which you can find HERE.
We are a cash only location, but we do provide an ATM for you inside our tattoo shop so you don’t have to worry about making an extra stop at the bank before coming in.
Yes they do, but they are not an unbearable pain. Most of us consider it a minor annoyance. Eating that full meal and staying hydrated will help make the process easy to bear. Pain does, however, change with each individuals level of pain tolerance.
Your immune system is in charge of the healing process of your tattoo. So if your body is already trying to fight off a bug, and then you get a tattoo on top of it, you are stretching it thin. This will result in you taking longer to get over your sickness, and your tattoo taking longer to heal. If you just reschedule your tattoo with us and give yourself a few days to feel well for your tattoo it will end up healing sooner than if you got it while you’re sick.
This one is an important one because there are a few things that will make your experience go much smoother. First, do not drink alcohol or consume aspirin the night before, or the day of your tattoo. It is generally a bad idea because you will not feel well, and it will also make you bleed more which expels the ink as we put it in, meaning your tattoo will fade. Second, and just as important, is make sure you eat a good meal about 30 minutes to an hour before you come in. This is especially vital if your tattoo is large as it will be some time before you eat again, and your body will be going through a lot of trauma.
It is generally considered common practice to tip your tattoo artist and piercer just like you would a server at a restaurant. At Sacred Rites Tattoo Bradenton our artist go above and beyond to make sure everyone that comes here has the best experience you can find, so it’s always nice to show someone you appreciate their extra effort for you.
All you need to do is come in and have a consultation with an artist about your tattoo to hash out some of the details and let the artist see what he needs to prepare before your appointment. You will leave a deposit of $20-$100 depending on the overall cost of your tattoo, this deposit goes towards the price of your tattoo. EX: If we quote you $500 for a tattoo, you will need to leave a $100 deposit to lock in your appointment. When you come in for the appointment you will only need to bring in $400 + tip. This leads to our next question.
This depends on the tattoo, but most of the time it is much easier to set an appointment as our artists are generally busy, so your odds of walking in at the exact time they aren’t busy setting up, or doing another tattoo are slim. If it is something small, however, you just might be able to get in and out when you come in. Large and custom tattoos however, will always require an appointment and a deposit because there is too much preparation that goes into tattoos of size and detail.
First thing is to have at least a general idea of what you want. If you at least give us a guideline, our artists can build on it to come up with a finished product, we can also help you decide what the best place would be for your tattoo to make it look as good as it can. If your tattoo is something very specific, for example a portrait of someone close or a pet, a fireman badge, things like that, be sure to bring in the HIGHEST quality image that you can. Things like that require lots of detail, so the higher quality the image, the better the tattoo you will get. For piercings, just know which piercing you want and come on in. Our piercer will be able to let you know anything you want to know about any of the piercings.
Your child must be 16 or older to get tattooed. You will need a photo ID for both you and your child, and most importantly you will need a CONEST FORM from the Department of health. You can find this form and print it off by clicking HERE. It must be signed and stamped by a notary public.
We do not give quotes online or over the phone. There are too many variables that go into pricing that require us to see you and your tattoo idea in person.
