Hey everyone! Matt Haines here, and we are rolling out something big and need your help. As many of you know, we do 3D Areola tattoos for breast cancer patients who’ve had to undergo a mastectomy, removing one or both of their nipples, as treatment to fight against such a terrible disease. It has been a great honor, and privilege, to serve these women and help them finish that final step in their journey of not only fighting, but beating breast cancer. It helped to open our eyes as artists and recognize the potential of our craft for not just creativity, but for philanthropy. We have shed many tears hear being humbled by the brave, and wonderful stories of these women, and we are now ready to help more people.

As of now, Mike Csanki and I will be looking for children ages 16-18 (nobody older, for now) who have alopecia. Alopecia is a disease that currently has no cure, and causes a person’s immune system to attack hair follicles, causing permanent hair loss (usually in circular patterns, sometimes overlapping), in random spots on their scalp. We would like to offer free Micro Scalp Pigmentation services to those children, with parental consent. Micro Scalp Pigmentation is using the form of tattooing, to fill in areas where hair has been lost to this disease, emulating the pattern and look of hair follicles on the scalp. We all know what it was like to go through high school, but most of us have no idea how such a disease can impact our self esteem at such a critical age. We want to do our part for those kids, by giving them back the look of their hair.

So please, if you know of any kids ages 16-18 (we are actively talking with the state to reduce that age to 12, so stay tuned on that and don’t lost hope if your child is younger) please reach out to us so that we can set up a consultation and get the ball rolling to fill that hair back in! This will be a new permanent addition to our philanthropic services and we hope you all will help us to find some kids who could use some support, and a little love.

Please share this article, or the facebook post on your pages to help us reach the people who need this service.

Thank you all for your help. As always.

Sincerely,

Matt, Mike, and the entire Sacred Arts Tattoo Bradenton Team.
